AFI conducts State Technical Official exam in Nagaland

DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 24 (MExN): The State Technical Official examination was conducted by Athletic Federation of India from September 22 to 24 for Northeastern states at the premises of the Nagaland Olympic Association Office Kohima.

It is the first time that State Technical Examination is being conducted in Nagaland and second technical official course by Athletics Federation of India. The examination was conducted by Sambhudas Bandyophyay, Level 1 official from AFI and also a member of World Athletics Referee Panel Silver Level.

Neivikuolie Khatsu, Assistant Secretary General Nagaland Olympic Association and Neingulie Nakhro Treasurer Nagaland Athletics were the two observers for the state level examination held. The examination was held across India in 6 different states simultaneously including Nagaland state. The examination included both theory and physical efficiency test.

A total of 28 qualified District Technical Officials from North-east states appeared for the exam of which 22 officials were from Nagaland. A brief program was conducted after the end of the examination in which Neivikuolie Khatsu spoke on behalf of Nagaland Olympic Association. He expressed happiness and wished the technical official success in their future endeavour.

Neingulie Nakhro spoke on behalf of Nagaland Athletics and thanked AFI and Nagaland Olympic Association for their continuous support in making the state level examination successful. 

Sambhudas Bandyophyay also expressed his happiness to all the technical officials for their cooperation.
