DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 13 (MExN): The Athletics Federation of India (AFI) is organizing “Khelo India Women’s League” in 25 cities across India from September 17-21, 2023. Among the 25 cities, Dimapur has been selected as one the city to organize the Road Race events.
As per the directives from the AFI, the Nagaland Athletics Association (NAA) will be organizing the above mentioned event on the September 18.The event will consist of the following road races –
U-16 Girls – 3km and Women – 5km where winners would be awarded cash prizes.
In this connection, the NAA in a press release informed that for the participants, only school cumulative record book or Aadhaar card will be considered for proof of age.
Certificates of merit will be provided to all the top 5 winners and all participants will be provided with participation certificates. Athletes can register themselves by filling in the Google form by scanning the QR Code.
The last date for registration is September 16, 2023. Registration fee will be Rs 200 per participant.
All participants must report at Govt. Hr. Sec. School ground, Half Nagarjan, Dimapur at 5 AM on the day of the competition.
In this regard, the NAA has invited all interested female athletes to register themselves to be part of the mega event.
