
DIMAPUR, AUGUST 10 (MExN): Following the tragic incident on July 26 when two persons were killed in an accident at NH-29, 7th Mile, the four lane construction firm, M/S TK Engineering have taken up a commitment to take up all measures for the safety of the public.
This was stated in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) undertaken by the construction firm with the Virazouma Village Council (VVC) during a meeting on August 8. A press note from the VVC today informed that “the parties present were Issac Zhimomi, Chanchal Nag on behalf M/s. T.K. Engineering and Vitsu Rikha, Chairman Kidima Village and Vipopal Kintso.”
“The representatives of M/s. T.K. Engineering expressed deep regret and remorse on the unfortunate incident and committed that henceforth they shall take up all measures for the safety of the public so that such incidents do not occurs again,” it added. With this understanding, the VCC stated that the “matter has been settled and thus henceforth there shall be no ill feeling amongst all concerned so long as no party or individual reneged by virtue of this Memorandum of Understanding.”
