Agape students receive prize for winning painting competition

The students of Agape School, Kiphire on March 23 received certificates, cash, mementos and gift from the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change for achieving the first and third position in the painting competition under the theme ‘Caring for all life under the Sun’ in the state held last year on World Ozone Day.  

Distributing the prizes and congratulating the students, the Administrator of the School called upon the students and said, “The gifts may be small but the achievement is very big” and encouraged the students not to stop form here but to move ahead with ones talent.  

Encouraging the students, the Administrator said, “all of you can do and achieve in life as you are all gifted and talented but the only thing needed for you is to venture out and explore the talents and gifts you have.” He also added that the students who have achieved today are your class mates and added, “If they can why can’t you?”  

The Administrator also expressed gratitude to the Nagaland Pollution and Control Board for giving opportunities to the students to take part in event where the students could not only participate but were also are sensitized on the importance of Environment.  

Students from lower sections presented special song and recited scripture during the event.
