Kiphire, October 4 (MExN): The aggrieved Yimchunger students undergoing 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) for in-service untrained Teachers Nagaland have submitted a petition to the Regional Director, National Institute of Open Schooling, Guwahati, Assam requesting for change of examination centre.
Citing reasons for the petition, R Wongchum Yim, on behalf of 20 displaced trainees stated in the appeal note that the unfortunate incident of February 7 led to the displacement of Yimchunger students pursuing D.EL.ED at Kiphire study centre. “The earlier request to the Regional Director to approve the Pungro exam centre though his office had already given an assurance verbally yet no such intimation letters receive so far,” stated the petition.
The petition addressed to the Regional Director through the Coordinator Kiphire study centre urged the authority to “look into the matter and do the needful at the earliest.”
The petition reminded that the application for the same has been delivered to the Regional Director’s office “in person” twice.
