PUGHOBOTO, OCTOBER 25 (MExN): The monthly meeting of Pughoboto Sub-division Planning & Development Board (SDPDB) was held under the chairmanship of SDPDB Vice Chairman & MLA, Y Vikheho Swu at the DB court hall, Pughoboto on October 25.
The Vice Chairman urged the EE PWD, Pughoboto to execute jungle clearance by November and maintain the roads in their areas before the NBCC annual meeting where many delegates from all over Nagaland are expected at Ghatashi town by the beginning of the next year.
He lauded the Agriculture Department for the activities undertaken under Pughoboto sub division and called upon the department to come forward and take measures not only to increase the production but also focus on the marketing and suggested to sort out some subsidy for marketing shed and facilities.
SDAO, Myanthung Patton highlighted the department activities on integrated farming system, water harvesting structures, irrigation channels and construction of TRC under PMKSY 2020- 21.
The MLA also informed the departments to make a proposal for all development works and send it to the government for the five years plan, which is now taken up under the 15th Finance Commission.
The house also approved to resend the letter to the government for land compensation for the Pughoboto mini secretariat, wherein some offices were constructed including a solar plant installed.
