Kohima, July 2 (MExN): The Department of Agriculture accorded farewell to its outgoing director M Ben Yanthan at the conference hall, Directorate of Agriculture Kohima on July 2.
Addressing the farewell programme, Nagaland Agriculture Advisor Mhathung Yanthan, extended appreciation to the outgoing officer for his commendable service rendered to the department. The Advisor encouraged him to continue to contribute his service towards the society by utilising his wisdom and experience even after his retirement. Yanthan also encouraged the staffs to maintain the spirit of oneness and work in unison for holistic growth of the department.
Outgoing director Ben Yanthan thanked all the officers and staffs of the department for their support.
Agriculture Department Secretary Shanavas C also delivered short speech while speech on behalf of the department was delivered by S Yongchang Phom Addl Director of Agriculture. The programme was chaired by C Peter Yanthan, new director of agriculture, Nagaland.
