Agri dept distributes Rebi seeds in Longleng

Longleng, November 3 (MExN): The Department of Agriculture, Longleng organized a programme for distribution of Rebi seeds to the farmers for Longleng block and Sakshi block at DAO Office Longleng on November 2.

Deputy Commissioner Longleng, M Shayung Phom as special guest, addressed the participants saying that they were representing their respective village and therefore, should share the knowledge and ideas regarding farming within the village.

He encouraged them to practice whatever they learn during the training, adding that distribution or training was given by the department for the welfare of the farmers. He further encouraged to query and clear doubts regarding farming during such programmes.

L Mongsanget, DDAO, Longleng shared about Rebi Crops cultivation, while welcome and keynote address was delivered by S Yongchang Phom, DAO, Longleng. Vote of thanks was given by Akangtula Jamir, DPA, Longleng. The programme was chaired by Amei Phom, AO, Agriculture office Longleng.
