NEW JUNE 10 (IANS): After Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Jyotiraditya Scindia was admitted to hospital with Covid-19, his former party colleagues have wished him speedy recovery.
Congress treasurer Ahmed Patel tweeted, "Wishing @JM_Scindia a very speedy recovery." Kamal Nath whose government was brought down by the Scindia's rebellion also wished him early recovery.
Scindia and his mother Madhavi Raje Scindia tested coronavirus positive on Tuesday. While his mother is asymptomatic, Scindia has mild symptoms.
Both were admitted to Max Super Speciality Hospital in Saket, here, on Monday after they complained of throat irritation and mild fever.
With 24 Assembly by-elections around, political temperature is on the rise in the state. Also, the BJP is battling internal rift in the Chambal region where party leaders are uneasy over Scindia's entry.
