Dimapur, February 21 (MExN): The Dimapur District Congress Committee (DCC) has announced that AICC Observer, Dr Vijay Laxmi Sadho, a senior leader from Madhya Pradesh, has arrived on February 17 to review and strengthen party activities in the districts of Dimapur, Chumukedima, and Niuland.
According to the statement issued by the DCC, Dr Sadho has had a distinguished political career, having served five terms as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA), four times as a Cabinet Minister, and once as a Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament from Madhya Pradesh. She also served for 10 years as Secretary of the All India Congress Committee (AICC), demonstrating her long-standing dedication and commitment to the Indian National Congress.
During her visit, Dr Sadho toured the three districts, holding meetings with party leaders, frontal organizations, block committees, and grassroots workers. Accompanied by DCC President Kutoho Chishi and his team, she engaged directly with party members to understand ground realities, organizational challenges, and strategies for strengthening the Congress party at the booth and district levels.
Her dedication, discipline, and tireless efforts reflect her deep commitment to rebuilding and energizing the party structure. Through her constant guidance, constructive feedback, and cooperative approach, she has inspired party workers to work unitedly for the growth of the Congress party in the region.
Khriedi Theünuo, Working President of the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) and in-charge of Dimapur District, also held an extensive discussion with Dr Sadho on matters concerning party affairs in Dimapur.
