AIDA Don Bosco holds skill training

Diezephe, August 9 (MExN): ANMA Integrated Development Association (AIDA) - Don Bosco, implementing SBI Gram Seva programme, observed International Day of the World’s Indigenous Peoples in Diezephe village community hall by organizing one-day skill training on different types of detergent making for the 13 SHGs at Diezephe.

The objective of the one-day skill training was tostress on the importance of the dignity of work and to promote learning skills.  Today majority of people depends on the ready-made materials available in the marketsto meet their requirements whereas in the early days people producedmany things using their skillsto meet their daily needs. 

As part of the AIDA-SBI Gram Seva programme, a demonstration on making different types of detergentslikecar wash, hand wash, dish wash and Phenylmaking was done to encouraging people to engage in income-generating activities and to learn certain skills to meet their daily needs.
