Dimapur, March 24 (MExN): ANMA Integrated Development Association (AIDA), Don Bosco, Dimapur, under its programme, SBI Gram Saksham, Chümoukedima, organised a one-day extensive training on “Feed preparation and management for 150 pig rearing beneficiaries of 10 selected villages (Bade, Diezephe, Khriezephe, Murise, RazhapheBawe, Seluophe, Tsithrongse, Urra, Vidima&Virazouma) on March 23.
The training sessions were conducted simultaneously at three different locations- Khriezephe Village Council Hall, Urra Village Market Shed, and Vidima Village Council Hall.
At each session, resource person, Dr Gwazenlo Tep, Veterinary Assistant Surgeon, Wokha, provided insights and knowledge, introducing innovative and cost-effective techniques for preparing nutritious and balanced pig feed, ensuring optimal growth and health of the pigs.
The training also emphasised the importance of proper feeding schedules and hygiene practices to maintain a healthy farming environment.
