Dimapur, March 29 (MExN): The All Indian Organisation of Chemist & Druggists (AIOCD), North East Zone today stated that it has taken a “serious note” of development regarding the arrest of Medicine dealers in Dimapur, Nagaland under the NDPS Act 1995.
All the Chemist throughout the country is selling the Narcotic and Psychotropic drugs under the Drugs Act 1940 and Rules 1945, it stated.
Accordingly, the organisation urged the government authority to “stop harassment” of its Chemist members in Nagaland by settling the present issue with the NDMA, an affiliated body of AIOCD.
lf the harassment continues and the issue is not settled, we have no other alternative except to stop selling all the Narcotic and Psychotropic drugs throughout the North-East States leading shortages and other forms of agitation, stated a press from the AIOCD, NE Zone.
