Dimapur, November 6 (MExN): Ajano Kithan won the coveted title of Miss Tokhu 2022, Chümoukedima, during a glittering ceremony at the Chümoukedima Town Council Hall on November 5.
Benthunglo Enny and Ruth Humtsoe were adjudged as the 1st and 2nd runner up respectively, as per a DIPR report received here on Sunday.
The subtitle winners were Lorenbeni (Miss Congeniality and Best Ethnic Wear), Lochumi (Miss Multimedia), Benthunglo Enny (Miss Photogenic and Best Evening Gown), Ruth Humtsoe (Miss Perfect 10), and Ajano Kithan (Best Ramp Walk)
Panel of judges for the event were DPRO Dimapur, Lolano Patton, Assistant professor PCC, MSSM and HOD voice department, Golden Crown Theological College, Mhathung Odyuo, Post Graduate Teacher DPS and educationist, Renthunglo Shitiri, jewellery and fashion designer, Zaben Murry and designer Loreni Sophie, the DIPR report stated.
The event was graced by SDO Er Lichonthung Patton and Miss Nagaland 2021, Mharoni Khuvung.
Highlights of the programme included showcasing of traditional attires, special presentation from various artists through dances and songs displaying the rich culture of the Lotha community.
The programme was organised by Lotha Youth Organization as part of Tokhu Emong celebration.
