The Government of India’s representative to the Indo-Naga political talks, AK Mishra, landed in Dimapur, on June 10 in what is believed to be a routine official visit. He was scheduled to meet the Naga Political Groups currently in political negotiations with the GoI over the next 1-2 days.
As per reliable sources, he will have separate meetings with the NSCN (IM) as well as with the two segments of the recently split Working Committee, Naga National Political Groups. It could not be ascertained if he would be meeting the civil society organisations.
