A total of 62 shops were completely burnt and 73 shops, valued at crores of rupees were severely damaged in the fire, leaving several hardworking individuals and families devastated by the loss of their livelihoods, a press release received from AKM informed on Tuesday.

In the light of the distressing situation, the DC of Mokokchung has approached the AKM to provide support and relief to the victims of the disaster, the press release stated. It highlighted that the devastation caused by the fire has left many families in urgent need of assistance.

“Your timely contributions can provide immediate relief and alleviate their suffering.
