Arju Centre held its activity review meeting in Mokokchung on April 17 last.
Mokokchung, April 18 (MExN): Arju Centre, an innovative education initiative of the Ao Kaketshir Mungdang (AKM) under the aegis of the Nagaland Education Mission Society, Samagra Shiksha, Nagaland held its activity review meeting at Magnus Hotel, Mokokchung on April 17 last.
Apart from reviewing the activities of the Arju Centres, other highlights of the day included PowerPoint presentation competition of the Arju Centres by the respective mentors, sharing of plan of action for the year 2023-24 and Arju Centre policies. Arju Centres of Mongsenyimti, Sungratsu and Longjang villages were adjudged first, second and third position respectively.
The day-long meeting also included a brain storming session moderated by P Tiatemsu, Assistant Professor, Fazl Ali College.
The Arju Centres are instituted in ten villages under Mokokchung district under the initiative, including Aonokpu, Longjang, Longpayimsen, Merangkong, Moayimti, Mongchen, Mongsenyimti, Sungratsu, Waromung and Yajang C.
