
Workers arranging various constructions for the forthcoming Ao Kakatshir Mungdang 66th General Conference to be held at Chuchuyimpang.
Mokokchung, January 8: One of the largest gatherings and most prestigious students’ conference of the Ao students in the State, Ao Kakatshir Mungdang 66th General Conference is schedule from January 14 to16, 2014. Chuchuyimpang, which is located five kilometers away from Mokokchung town, is hosting the 66th AKM General Conference.
Based on the theme ‘Orientated Citizen’ various educationists will be addressing the conference as main speakers. On January 15, Professor A Lanunungsang, pro vice chancellor, NU will speak on the topic “Orientated Citizen: Towards a refined socio-political ethos.” On January 16, Toshi Aier, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary & Finance Commissioner, Nagaland will speak on “Orientated Citizen: Towards a value added economy.”
Workshop will be conducted based on three topics- A purpose driven process of education, Youth and entrepreneurship; Challenges and Avenues, and Moral values for a dynamic society. The respective resource persons are: Dr. Chubatula Aier, principal, C-Edge College, Dimapur; Dr. T Jamedi Longkumer, Assistant Professor, Dimapur Government College; Watienla, Director, Department of Horticulture; L Mongkum Jamir, MD Symbios Creations Ltd; Sentisungla, Assistant Professor & HoD, Department of Psychology, DU and Akok Walling, Assistant Professor, FAC Mokokchung.
