Mokokchung, October 11 (MExN): In light of the recent anomaly at AOC petrol pump at Sungkumen Ward, Mokokchung, the Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) has demanded that strict action must be taken against the defaulter(s) who deliberately cheated on the consumers thus infringing many laws.
AKM in support of Ongpangkong Students’ Conference (OKM) stood firm and declared “we will not leave any stone unturned in this serious crime.” A press statement from AKM Vice President, Akummeren Longchar and General Secretary, Bendangkumba Aier in a press statement further asked the competent authority to bring those perpetrators to book and deliver justice.
Meanwhile, AKM lauded the vigilant works of the OKM and also encouraged working continuously for the welfare of the people in the days to come. AKM further acknowledged the quick response of the District Administration, Police, and Legal Metrology & Consumer Protection Department in dealing with the matter and sealing off AOC till investigation and needed formalities are concluded.
