MOKOKCHUNG, MARCH 22 (MExN): The Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) has directed all non-locals residing in the Tuli Sub-Division to register their AKM Census Card by March 26. The registration will take place on March 25 and 26 at the Forest & Raw Material Contractors Association Hall in Tuli and Menji ki in Tzudikong Salang from 9 AM to 4 PM.
The AKM has warned that non-locals who fail to register within the given time frame will face consequences. It also appealed the Ward Chairmen and Village Councils to ensure compliance from non-locals within their respective jurisdictions.
Expressing concern that illegal immigration is a growing concern and poses a threat to indigenous inhabitants, the AKM called for coordinated efforts between the administration and citizens to address the issue.
