Dimapur, June 10 (MExN): For the purpose of building and nurturing ‘ties,’ the Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) today met with Ao frontals. The Ao students met with the Ao Senden, the Watsü Mungdang, All Wards’ Union of Mokokchung Town and the four ‘landowner villages’ and discussed various issues pertinent to the uplift of Mokokchung. “The meeting aims to strengthen ties between various apex groups for the social wellbeing of the society. Various topics for the uplift of Mokokchung were discussed,” a note from the AKM stated today. Among the issues discussed was concerning the construction of the deputy commissioner’s office. “With heads joining together, many opinions were shared and resolved to stand by the resolution given by Ao Senden,” the AKM informed. The AKM also advised all in concern to look into issues concerning the construction of the new DC office complex.
