MOKOKCHUNG, JUNE 19 (MExN): The Office of the Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) has informed all non-locals residing in Mokokchung, and yet to renew or register their AKM Census Card that the last date of registration will be June 22, 2024. Registration or renewal will be done at the AKM Conference Hall, from 10 AM to 4 PM.
Informing this, AKM Vice President, Onenpong, in an information note, also appealed to all the concerned ward chairman, village councils and employers to ensure that all the non-locals residing within their respective jurisdiction are registered.
The infiltration of illegal immigrants is a threat to the indigenous inhabitants and has to be fought with joined hands. We expect continued cooperation from the administration and support from all the citizens of Mokokchung, it stated.
The AKM also stated that there will be intensive checking after the stipulated date and those found without proper documents during inspection will be deported immediately.
It informed that documents required will be ILP, AKM Census Card, Guarantor and NOC from Ward/Village Council Chairman with detailed house owner name, house number, name of tenant and ward/sector seal & signature of competent authority.
