AKM with NSF on retirement age

Dimapur, November 20 (MExN): The Ao Students’ Conference stands with the NSF over the superannuation issue. The AKM opines that the state government’s decision to increase the retirement age of service is not a wise decision.  The organization explained that Nagaland has one of the highest literacy rates, but with limited “factories” and industries. For this fact, government service is the only alternative, so increase in the retirement age is not a wise decision because it does not specify the span of service, AKM reasoned in a note from its executive. “We feel that it is not a right time to compare our state with those other industrial states I regard to the retirement age at this instant. As per the notification of the government, it shows no optimism for the younger generations…for government jobs (sector, are) already in its saturation point AKM explained. The AKM stands with the NSF and demands from the government fulfillment of the NSF demands at the earliest.
