Alempang wins 4th Inter ward Beat Contest

Winners and participants of the 4th Inter Ward Beat Contest with the organisers Temulunger Telok at held Town Hall Mokokchung on December 21. 

The 4th Inter ward Beat Contest organised by the Temulunger Telok was held at Town Hall, Mokokchung on December 21. The contest winners were Alempang ward while the runners up were Majakong ward.

The individual prize winners included - Best Vocalist: Taliyanger; Best Drummer: Sangonok; Best Bassist: Temsumongba; Best Guitarist: Sashikokba; while Temsumongba and Sashikokba won the Controllers Lt. Tiayanger award for best guitarist and Controllers Lt. Aowati award for best Drummer respectively. 

Altogether six wards participated at the fourth edition of the Inter ward beat contest. Ambong and Tune Up Channel were the guest artists at event. 

Vertex construction, Nagaland Mines and Minerals and Anuradah Hardware Arkong Ward, were the sponsors of the event while MPTV and VMC was the media and sound and lights partner.
