All Blacks Club lifts Autumn Cup 2023

MEDZIPHEMA, SEPTEMBER 29 (MExN): All Blacks Club (ABC) Kohima lifted the Autumn Cup 2023 after thrashing Zeliangrong Village FC with 8 goals to nil at the one-sided finals played here at local ground, Medziphema today. The football tournament for the 35+ players was organized by the Chümoukedima Football Referee Board. 

The match saw complete domination from the ABC team in all aspect starting with the blow of the first whistle till the last. Kekhriesetuo secured a hat-trick scoring in the 28th, 35th and 70th minute. Visakholie, Atun, Lipok and Renbemo scored a goal each in the 13th, 22nd, 29th & 59th minute. The woes of the ZVFC continued with an own goal in the 54th minute with the final tally at 8-0. 

Earlier in the day, guest of honor Qhetovi Assumi, encouraged the player to uphold the spirit of sportsmanship and be an example in all fields of life.

While appreciating the CDFRB for organizing such event for the 35+ players, he further encouraged them and wished the best in guiding the beautiful game. Major Chetan of 7th Assam Rifles graced the final as special guest and handed over the awards.
