The all new Amaze (3rd Generation) was officially unveiled at the Ayida Honda dealership, in Naharbari Dimapur, on December 4. Dr John Khing, MBBS MS Ortho, Olive Christian Hospital was invited as the special guest for the event.
First launched in 2013, the third iteration of Amaze features upgraded style, safety, connectivity, drive and comfort, said Mughasheto Achumi, sales manager during the product presentation. Declaring it to be the most affordable ‘Advanced Driver Assistance System’ enabled car in India, the sedan comes in three trim levels- V, VX and ZX and six colour options, he said.
Among others, the new Amaze will also come with paddle shit and a five speed manual transmission. It will come with more than 28 features for active and passive safety including segment first ADAS technology of Honda Sensing.
Prices for Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT) models will range from Rs 9.19 lakhs-10.89 lakhs while for Manual Transmission (MT), it starts from Rs 7.99 lakhs-9.69 lakhs.
The event was hosted by Tovi Zhimo, dealership supervisor with invocation delivered by Rev Babu Bhatt, Chaplain of Olive Christian Hospital.
