Dimapur, April 23 (MExN): The NNC Lotha Region has condemned the press statement published on April 21 that falsely levied allegation against Dr. Senka Yaden and working president, 'gen. rtd.' Panger Walling and asking them to step down from their post.
Yilow Humtsoe, the vice president of NNC Lotha Region in a rejoinder has slammed M.C Murry, I. Teka Soya, Zapuviste Lhousa, T. Oren and Chosal Angami for issuing such statement. He stated in that they had accused the dignitaries “to satisfy their selfish interest”.
In the note, it was stated that Dr. Senka Yaden was elected as president in February 2008 in presence of all the NNC officials in a general meeting held in Ao Region for five years tenure. Likewise, the present working president was also elected on March 29, 2011 in presence of all the NNC officials at executive meeting in Dimapur. It is therefore appealed to all elders and former members of NNC not to misguide the Naga People by “wishful thinking”.
The note durther stated: “Regarding the theory of M.C Murry who had surrendered to the Indian Constitution along with weapons and testimonial documents on 18th August 1975 and he further advised to the NNC workers what he had committed against the interest of Naga sovereignty, them as to why he can claim as NNC advisor. However, the NNC authority accepts the genuine advice for the Naga nation. Once again the NNC Lotha region appeal to all the National workers to discard the propaganda and instigation against the interest of Naga people, and rather forward to solve the Naga political problem.”
