
Dimapur, November 4 (MExN): The Chakro Angami Kuda Union (CAKU), Chakhro Kuda Razha Angamimiapfü Krotho (CKRAK), Chakhro Angami Kuda Youth Organisation (CAKYO) and Chakhro Angami Kuda Students’ Union (CAKSU) have vehemently condemned the alleged ‘physical abuse of minors’ by their custodian at Burma Camp, Dimapur.
A press release issued by CAKU, President, T Solo stated that the severe physical injury inflicted upon the minors kept in her custody is extremely heinous and cannot be tolerated in a civilized society.
CAKU and its frontal bodies, therefore appealed to the law enforcing agencies to deliver justice and punish the culprit according to the law. Further, it advised that “no member of the community should try to bail out the alleged culprit as it is ashamed of the existence of such people within the community.” It conveyed “sympathy to the victims and pray that they will quickly recover from their trauma.”
