Alliance Air to begin daily flights from Dimapur

Dimapur, February 18 (MExN):  Budget carrier Alliance Air will start daily direct flight services connecting Dimapur to Guwahati and Imphal from February 20, an Air India Limited statement said on Tuesday.

Alliance Air, a subsidiary of Air India Limited, added Imphal and Dimapur to its list of destinations on December 7, 2019, with four flights a week under the Udey Desh Ka Aam Nagarik (UDAN) scheme. 

According to Madan Kumar Saha, Station Manager, Air India Limited, Dimapur, the airline has deployed its 70-seater aircraft in these sectors. He said that daily flight operations provide the option of swift connectivity between these destinations all seven days of the week. With this flight, onward connectivity from Dimapur to Guwahati and from Guwahati to Bangalore, Delhi, and Kolkata is feasible, he added.

Flight 9i741 departs from Guwahati at 8:00 am and arrives at Dimapur at 8:55 am further departing from Dimapur at 9:15 am arriving at Imphal at 10:05 hrs. Flight 9i-742 departs from Imphal at 10:25 am and arrives at Dimapur at 11:15 am further departing from at Dimapur 11:35 am and arriving at Guwahati at 12:25 pm.
