Alobo Naga scores hat-trick at Artist Aloud Music Award 2018

With three awards in hand, out of four nominations, Alobo Naga made North East India proud once again at the Artist Aloud Music Award 2018.   With lots of prominent artists nominated and live performances, India’s only Independent Music Award was well received by performers all over the country. The event was held on April 4 in Mumbai.   Sharing about his experience during the award function, Alobo said “I was humbled when my name was first announced for the 1st award and by the time I got the 3rd one, I could not hold my tears anymore. I wanted to shout out and tell everyone that North East is back in the game.”   The artist added, “When the crowd cheered for me and was shouting out my name, I couldn’t have been more thankful to God and also to all of my well wishers who have supported me.”   The Mistry Gaana singer dedicated his awards to every artist in the North East who are striving hard to make it in the music industry. Receiving the ward, Alobo declared, “I dedicate this award to the entire artist back home, from the North East and want to tell each one of them that I stand here on behalf of all of you, receiving it in your name”.   Other winners of the nights included Kailash Kher, Shankar Mahadevan, Hard Kaur, Euphoria, Jassi and many more.   The MTV awardee who has taken all his talent to a small town of Dimapur, leaving behind the celebrity life in the cities told a spokesperson that “I left the cities behind and started a small music academy because I am happy to be home and do anything related to music. As for me it means to mould a person to make more music and that makes me the happiest person, as music heals”.   The “highest achiever of the Independent music award”, Alobo Naga is now touring with his album KINI - The KINI TOUR INDIA.
