Alternative metal band Daze marks first milestone with ‘Chances’

Kohima, October 23 (MExN): Daze, an alternative metal band based in Kohima, has released its debut single, “Chances,” along with its official music video on October 23, marking the group’s first major milestone.

Driven by a passion for raw, authentic sound and the expression of ideas through heavy music and compelling lyricism, Daze explores the emotional challenges of pursuing an uncertain path in its debut release. Built around a relatable theme, “Chances” combines technical guitar riffs and powerful vocals to convey the inner resolve and personal sacrifices required to move forward despite difficult odds.

The track was recorded and produced by Moyuchen Yanthan at Infinite Records, Kohima, while the accompanying music video was shot and edited by i/o-ki Production.

The band comprises Alang Imchen, Sedevisie Iralu, Arenchenla Walling, Bendangmoa Pongen and Tsungten Pongener. Following the release of its debut single, Daze is looking ahead to its next milestone, with plans to release a full-length Extended Play (EP) in 2027.

The release marks the beginning of the band’s musical journey, introducing its sound and creative direction to a wider audience.
