Dignitaries with others during career guidance at St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous) Jakhama on May 12

Kohima, May 14 (MExN): The Alumni Association of St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous) Jakhama organized a Career Guidance programme with the theme ‘Gearing up towards a Better Tomorrow: Are You Ready to take the Next Step?” on May 12 at the College Indoor Stadium.

The programme was organized for the students of 4th semester PG and 6th semester UG.

During Career Guidance session, Zhozoto Nakro, Project Coordinator & International Business Machine Corporation-STEM, Youthnet,  highlighted the various career choices for the students and its impact on life.

He shared on the different stages of career development and guided the students to identify steps to achieving them.

He encouraged the students to take advantage of offline and online courses and informed them on the emerging sectors such as tourism, construction, vlogging etc.

Alumni Association SJC(A) president and proprietor of M/S T.V & Co. Peter Vizo and Rekha Rose Dukru, SJC (A) Batch 2003, proprietor of Eden Farms & The Majestic Kapamodzii and executive member of Chakhesang Public Organization also shared motivational messages. 

Earlier, the programme was chaired by M. Mathew Yhome, joint secretary, Alumni Association SJC(A) with invocation and introduction of the new office bearers by the college principal, Dr. Fr George Keduolhou Angami.

Vote of thanks was proposed by Diezelhounuo Tepa, statistical secretary, Alumni Association SJC(A).
