Mokokchung, September 15 (DIPR): In commemoration of Platinum Jubilee of Mayangnokcha Government Higher Secondary School (MGHSS), Mokokchung, a public address system was donated to the institution by alumni of the school (HSSLC Commerce 2011 batch).
A formal inaugural programme was held at the school auditorium on September 14 with Assistant General Secretary of AKM, Shilukaba Longchar as the guest of honour. Shilukaba said that MGHSS is a historic institution producing the likes of Dr. S.C Jamir, Dr. Hokishe Sema and “host of luminaries shaping the course of our people.” On this note, he encouraged the students to follow the trail of their predecessors who aspired to make a difference.
Earlier, Mongshin, speaking on behalf of the HSSLC Commerce 2011 batch, expressed that their small contribution is a token of their appreciation to be a part of the great institution.
