AM Infra pledges DPR compliance on NH-129A

JALUKIE, JUNE 28 (MExN): The Jalukie Pumling Youth Organisation (JPYO) and the Jalukie Students’ Union Nagaland (JSUN) on Saturday held an emergency meeting with AM Infra Company, the contractor for NH-129A, Package-II, over the prolonged delay and substandard quality of the ongoing road construction.

During the meeting, the construction firm issued a written assurance to both organisations, committing to complete the project within the stipulated timeframe and in strict adherence to the Detailed Project Report (DPR), without compromising quality standards, a joint press release issued by JPYO and JSUN stated.

The company also pledged to prioritise and promptly address the inconveniences faced by the public, particularly in inhabited areas and NH approach road junctions affected by drainage system works.

Both JPYO and JSUN warned that failure to honour the written commitments would compel them to initiate appropriate and necessary action.
