To all those appearing Board examinations. Do start early for your centre’s. Make most use of the daylight and avoid facing electricity problem at night.
We all felt our infamous traffic jams today at Kohima and I am sure it was the same in Dimapur. Sad for all of you for the inconsistent power supply as well. And for us other motorist, it would be a very nice gesture if we give priority to cars with students in uniform on board. Students, do not feel embarrassed to ask for a lift or any other form help on the way. People will help, just make sure you are in proper uniform.
Another request. It would be very very good if, for the duration of the exams, we other road users avoid shopping and avoid using the road from 8am to 9am and from 12pm to 1pm for the sake of our students moving to their centres.
There are numerous reports of students reaching late not just because they started late but because of traffic. Every minute is precious and students need all the time they can find revising and it’s not practical they start for the centre 2 hours in advance. The traffic personnel of all districts should be out in full possible strength till Board exams are done with. Forget the VIP’s for a few days.
