The Nagaland College of Music & Fine Arts (NCMFA) in association with Gunma Junior Orchestra, Japan organised an evening of orchestral music on July 30 at NCMFA Auditorium, Khouchiezhii, T Khel Model village, Kohima. 

This Charity Music Concert was graced by T Neingusalie, Deputy Director, Social Welfare Department, Government of Nagaland.

This concert was organised to raise funds to procure instruments for the ZAVMAST Children Home.

The concert featured Shinichi Minami including Michiko Minami, Yoko Harada from Japan, Manab Naskar (India) and others.

An evening of orchestral music witnessed Violin cello Duet by Jean-Baptiste Sebastien Breval, Sakura (Flute and piano), Hakone Hachiri (Flute, Bell), L'Arlesienne Suite No.2 Minuet by Bizet, (Flute, Violin, Cello and Piano) and Traumerei by Schumann, (Cello and Piano).

Earlier, the programme started with opening prayer by Rev. Vezopa Rhakho, Pastor Chakhesang Baptist Church Kohima and offertory prayer by Vimegokho Chusi, Pastor MHBC. Vote of thanks was proposed by Zapocho Tetseo, CWC member.
