
Dimapur, October 25 (MExN): All Nagaland Aggrieved Hindi Teachers’ Association (ANAHTA) has been dissolved. All the Government Hindi teachers will now work under one banner – All Nagaland Hindi Teachers’ Union (ANHTU). This was decided during the general meeting of ANHTU with Hindi teachers appointed under Centrally Sponsored Scheme (CSS) on October 25.
A press release from Waisemba, Information Secretary, ANHTU further informed that two CSS Hindi teachers from each district were selected as “co-opted member” to the ANHTU. Name of the co-opted members are: Ilika – Convener, NelsonYhokha – Secretary, Sherhinlo Keppen, Zosita, Vilhou, Imyuwati, Basu Akhang, Mhonthung, Irangehung, Lothungbeni, Sevosalu, Seroba, Kekhreineilie, Khaose, Manan, Haigu Pame, Nyongla, Bambi, Aviho Chishi, Santosh, Ikiho, S. Topha, H. Abovi Sumi.
The meeting also resolved that if there is no assurance from the government regarding pending salary for 1379 CSS Hindi Teachers, class boycott will be continued, the release added.
