ANATG suspends agitation

Kohima, July 2 (MExN): The ANATG has temporarily suspended its agitation following ongoing meetings to resolve its demands. Beginning June 18, the All Nagaland Ad hoc Teachers Group (ANATG) had began their sit in protest outside the Directorate of School Education demanding the government to regularize its 1166 Ad hoc teachers appointed in 2012. Spokesperson Bendang Ozukum informed that meetings with the ANSTA, ENSF and NSF were held on June 30 where it was assured that the Interlocutory Application (IA) will be moved in the court for exemption of the Ad hoc teachers (2015 batch) from the purview of the court order. Further meetings are being held with the stakeholders to arrive to a concrete decision, informed the ANATG.
