ANATU asks education dept to revoke order

Dimapur, December 3 (MExN): The All Nagaland Adhoc Teachers’ Union (ANATU), in reaction to corrigendum No.ED/MISC-3/2008 Dated Kohima, the 11th October 2012, has plead that Education Department to immediately revoke its corrigendum order and reinstate order No. ED/MISC-3/2008 dated 24th March 2012, that was issued to regularize 1728 teachers (ANATU members). ANATU has resented that “the department has nothing to correct or change in its earlier order, if not for a degradation to their future benefits.” ANATU president, Neizevotuo Nakhro states in a press release, “the department should stop corrupting the teachers anymore from now so that they could serve the department with peace of mind and with interest in teaching.” ANATU cautioned that in event of implementing thee corrigendum order, the Union would resort to take action against the department. Meanwhile, ANATU has convened its general meeting for all 11 districts on December 13 at 11:00 am at directorate of School Education where strict attendance will be taken.
