ANCA celebrates Counsellors’ Day

Kohima, November 28 (MExN): ANCA (All Nagaland Counsellors’ Association) celebrated the Counsellors’ Day at St Joseph’s College, Jakhama on November 27.

The Guest of Honour Dr. Norbert Noraho, Rtd Director of Higher Education Government of Nagaland spoke on the occasion and drew attention of the participants on the unique contributions and impact of Counsellors across Nagaland and the Nation.

Keynote address was given by Dr. Zavise Rume, former president of ANCA who said that the day is observed to promote professionalism in counselling; strengthen solidarity, integrity, fraternity in the profession and loyalty towards counselling as a profession; safeguard the interest of counsellors and to contribute ourselves towards physiological, psychological and emotional wellbeing of mankind. The talk of the day was delivered by Dr. Boniface D’Souza SJ on Digital Addiction.  

Message was given by the Principal Dr. Sebatian Ousepparampil and Fr. C. Joseph, President of ANCA gave the address. Manipuri dance, special number and the sound of music was presented by Counsellors and the student Counsellors.
