ANCSF decides to revamp cooperative societies

Kohima, July 23 (MExN): The All Nagaland Cooperative Societies’ Federation (ANCSF) in its executive meeting has decided to revamp the District Cooperative Societies’ Union for the effective implementation of cooperative schemes in Nagaland. The meeting was held on July 13 at the ANCSF office in Kohima, informed a press release issued by R K Mekhro, president, and Hoshito Assumi, Secretary of ANCSF.

The release further informed that the officials of ANCSF have been delegated to four districts: Mokokchung district I/C T Yanger Imchen, Dimapur district I/C Neilo Khape, Secretary, Peren district I/C Kenziecling Elunglung, Secretary, and Wokha district I/C E Zuchamo Jami General Secretary. Meanwhile, the Federation has requested the districts that are not associated with the ANCSF and the rest of the district union officials to contact R K Melehro, president, at 9436340636.

The note further said that all the cooperative societies in Nagaland may contact the ANCSF office to clarify any doubts. The office will remain open from 10:00am to 2:00pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, it was informed. Meanwhile, the ANCSF also informed that Povitso Lohe, who was one of the founder members of ANCSF and former president of ANCSF, handed over the office to the new team on June 24 and has been appointed as joint Convenor of the National Congress Party (NCP).
