Kohima, April 2 (MExN): The All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) has informed that the disbursement of the third installment of the Post-Matric Scholarship (PMS) for Scheduled Tribe (ST) students for the year 2023-2024 has commenced from April 2.
The update was conveyed to the union by the Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Nagaland (GoN).
In this regard, ANCSU has urged all students concerned to ensure that their bank accounts remain active for smooth transactions.
The union also expressed appreciation to the State Government, the Minister for Higher Education & Tourism, and the department concerned for recognising the necessity of the scholarship, taking up the matter with the Union Ministry of Tribal Affairs, and prioritising the withdrawal authority for its release.
At the same time, the ANCSU also appealed to the department to expedite the release of the first installment of the PMS-ST for the year 2024-2025 without delay.
