The ‘indefinite digital protest’ against the State government called by the All Nagaland College Students Union (ANCSU) against the State Government will begin from October 12.

The ANCSU on Sunday accused the government of remaining ‘wilfully silent’ on its demand of setting up an Enquiry Commission to probe the utilization of funds amounting to Rs 3,71,60,000 at Khelhoshe Polytechnic Atoizu (KPA), Zunheboto under AICTE-NEQIP and similar implementation in other institutes.

This is reportedly the first phase of agitation, as informed by the Union earlier and further intensification of the protest would be intimated, it said in a release on October 11.

During the protest, students have been provided with messages to be sent to email and Twitter account and Facebook pages of government functionaries and protest posters which would be circulated in all social media platforms.

The 39 units of ANCSU have been directed to send at least 1000/5000/10000 messages each to the given accounts on the first three days of the protest. A status report is also to be submitted to the office of the ANCSU.
