And they bloom with Happiness: (Top) On a gloomy and rainy day on August 12, members of the Peren Town Women Organisation (PTWO) were seen undertaking a beautification drive on the road dividers across the town square. (Morung Photo). (Bottom) In this picture taken in Peren Town recently, the flowers are seen in full bloom beautifying the area and bringing joy to both the citizens as well others. It was informed that the PTWO maintains the spots whole year round planting flowers depending upon the seasons. The members of 9 wards in the Town also assist in form of social work besides maintaining their own wards. The Peren Town Council and Peren Student Union also actively support the initiative.
