ANDESA discusses ‘discrimination of quota system’

Dimapur, May 28 (MExN): The All Nagaland Diploma Service Association (ANDESA) general meeting was held at IMC Hall Dimapur on May 17 with Er. Manamothan Rajbongshi, Secretary General, All India Federation of Diploma Engineer (AIFODE) apex body of Diploma Engineers Association as guest of honour.  

He highlighted about diploma engineering service rule and present scenario of AIFODE agitation memorandum submitted to the Prime Minister of India.  

A press release stated that the main agenda of meeting was to deliberate about “discrimination of ANDESA quota system by direct recruit of SDO and to re-amendment quota system 40/60 to the post of SDO, 25/75 to the post of EE and 10/90 SE respectively as per Nagaland Engineering Service rule 1997.”  

This was followed by election of new team of ANDESA office bearers for the tenure of 2016-19. The house re-elect former president Er Vikheto Shohe-president; Er Elo Khiam-Vice President; Er Kenillo Rengma-General Secretary; Er Benjon-Assistant General Secretary; Er Tongpang Longkumer-Treasurer; and Er Tsatsase Sangtam Assistant Treasurer.  

The new ANDESA team in a press release has request to all its members to pay membership fees of Rupees 500 and also up date detail  information through zonal in charge for categorized contribution of money to all Diploma Engineer Cadre through zonal in charge on or  before June 2016.
