Anemia Reduction Camp conducted in Phughi 

Kohima, August 8 (MExN): As part of the convergence under National Nutrition Mission Program and under the aegis of the Social Welfare Department, a second phase Anemia Reduction Camp was conducted under the ICDS Project Chozuba at Phughi Village on August 5.

According to a press release issued by Nusa Thisa, Supervisor, ICDS Project, Chozuba, a total of 145 patients were examined and free medicines were distributed to the patients during the camp. 

The release added that the Social Welfare Department in collaboration with the District Administration and Medical Department, Phek has completed its first phase which covered Lower Khomi, Middle Khomi, Upper Khomi and Kütsapo Villages. The program which aims to reduce Anemia in Phek District will continue to cover other remaining remote villages in its later phases.
