Anemia screening–cum-awareness camp for adolescent teens (girls) was held at Village Council Hall, Tsaru, Tuensang on September 26. Dr Akumla, MO, PHC Chare gave the awareness on adolescent’s health and nutrition while Nokpai Konyak, EAC and Chairman of BCAP delivered the keynote address. The event was chaired by Longtsa Sangtam, Poshan Coordinator ICDS Chare block and invocation by Atula, ASHA worker. Sanitary pads were given to all participants while medicines were also given to some of the participants. An interaction session was also held after the event.
