Angami Krotho Bengaluru commemorates Sekrenyi

Bengaluru, February 25 (MExN): The Anngami Krotho Bengaluru commemorated the Sekrenyi Festival on February 24, 2024, at the Students Christian Movement of India campus.

The event commenced with a traditional song performed by SAIACS students, followed by engaging traditional games, inforemd a perss release.

Nouneseno Punyü, Headmistress of Samsidh International School, Vidyaranyapura Bangalore.

Gracing the occasion as the special guest,  Nouneseno Punyü, Headmistress of Samsidh International School, Vidyaranyapura Bengaluru underscored the significance of Sekrenyi festival celebrations, emphasising the importance of cultural preservation and the role of language in fostering unity among communities.

She advocated for continuous learning and preservation of one’s mother tongue in today’s globalized era. 

Additionally, Punyü lauded to the Angami Krotho Bengaluru for their commendable achievements and applauded their efforts in establishing a constitution, recognising its pivotal role.

The event also featured the inauguration of Angami Krotho Bengaluru by Er  Kevilhoubei Yiese, culminating with a communal feast.
