Kohima, February 22 (MExN): The ‘Angamimiapfü Mechü Krotho (AMK)’ nomenclature has been replaced by the ‘Angami Women Organization (AWO).’
Informing this in a press release, the Angami Women Organization (AWO), President, Neilhuzono Nagi and General Secretary, Chozhule Kikhi said that AWO is registered with the office of the Registrar of Societies, Home Department, Nagaland.
It stated that “AWO is one of the frontal organizations of the Angami Public Organization (APO). Even the youth have been using the nomenclature Angami Youth Organization (AYO). Hence, in order to have uniformity and in conformity with APO/AYO, Angami Women Organization is being used in all official correspondences with different departments and other organizations.”
Therefore, it requested all its partners and the Government Departments to take note of the change in nomenclature to avoid further confusion.
