Dimapur, November 28 (MExN): The Angling Association of Nagaland in association with the Department of Fisheries & Aquatic Resources and Department of Tourism will be hosting the Hornbill Angling Festival 2018 on December 3, 7 and 8. The competition will held in two categories: River Angling at Tsuza Eryu, Doyang, Wokha on December; and Lake/Pond Angling Competition at Lavi Lake, Dimapur on December 7 and 8.
The total prized money for River Angling Competition is 1.5 lakhs and Rs 2 lakhs for Lake/Pond Angling Competition. The criteria for the participants at the Angling Festival will be single rod and a maximum of 2 hooks.
The event will also witness live band performance and food stalls at the venue. A press release from AAN has informed that registration is now open with Rs 800 as registration fee for River Angling Competition at Tsuza Eryu, Doyang, Wokha and Rs 2000 for the Lake/Pond Angling Competition at Lavi Lake, Dimapur.
